para millie re sharpening

is there a way too send my para millie too spyderco re sharpening ? if so how much ? ive been trying to resharpen my para but no such luck,,,ive tried the sharpmaker ,belt grinder,dmt ..nothing seems to put the sharp edge back,,,im frustrated ...

send it back to spyderco along with 5 bucks and it will be back to you in a couple weeks as good as new.

The edge angle may be large enough that you are not actually sharpening the very edge. Mark the edge with a magic marker, use the Sharpmaker for a few strokes, then examine the edge to see where you are sharpening. If you are not near the edge yet, it will take some time to grind it down before you will be able to get it sharp. Either that, or sharpen at a higher angle, buit that means a less efficient cutter.

My Para touches up nicely on the Sharpmaker at the 30 degree setting.
