Para Question

I am in need of another good edc and I have had my eye on a para. I have carried emersons and mini grips and a delica and currently a s30v native. Now I know that the para is a little larger but how much bigger is it than say a delica. A local gun shop had one a while back but sold it and I can't find anywhere around here to handle one. I don't want anything too big but a little bigger than a mini grip or delica would be ok. Anyone here edc it and thoughts?
 
laxbum The Para, is one of the classic middle weights. :)
With the compression lock, its as smooth as butter, opening and closing.
The big difference from the delica, I find is with the handle ergonomics, you have a full grip,it feels great! The para is almost a full 8" OAL
The delica is aprox 7 1/4" OAL

Thicker than the Delica and just a slight longer.
I think it's significantly bigger than a mini grip.
What's your main concern with size though? Overall length? Blade length? length closed?
The para's closed length is close to the same as the full size griptilian.
It's a bit shorter overall. Thickness is close to the same I'd say.
 
Thanks for all the replies guys, I love this place. As far as size I dont need the handle to be too big as I dont have big hands. The blade needs to be not too big as well (sheeple). But from reading it sounds like it isin't going to be too long. Does anyone have a pic of a delica next to a para? How does this carry, like a big knife or does it feel small in the pocket?

Actually, it's a UKPK. Yes, that is lint, and yes, that thing has been clipped to my left front pocket for the last couple of years. :D
 
yablanowitz thanks for the pics that helps a lot. Just wondering also is that a mini manix or full size manix to the right of the para?
