Para2 from Amazon?

I am ready to buy a PM2, and the only place I can seem to find it is on Amazon, anyone bought one from there? It seems a little sketchy, it's not even labeled Paramilitary2, it just says Paramilitary. I'm concerned whether or not I will be getting an authentic Para2
I'm looking for a PM2 with Digi-cam scales and black DLC blade, would it be deal spotting if you guys just gave me a name of where I can look? Or if anyone has one and wants to sell it, just shoot me a PM
 
I've purchased many knives from Amazon. Though many consider there to be a risk of fakes, I've never once had it happen. The nice thing is, it is extremely convenient to simply return or exchange it if you ever were to receive a fake, or one that is simply not to your standards. Nothing would be lost whatsoever, either, as Amazon also covers the return shipping cost. I've had nothing but perfect experiences with them.
 
If it's fake, they will let you return it and should even cover the return shipping under their A to Z policy.
If you can buy from a BF dealer all the better but the big river isn't a bad place if they are the only one to have what you're looking for.
 
I bought my first pm2 off amazon with the same concerns you have but it was legit. Have bought many others from there too and were all fine. Stick with a prime dealer and you have nothing to worry about.
 
I say go for it and return it if you have any doubts.... I must say all the "is my Sypderco fake?" threads are wearing on me a little. 9.99999999 times out of 10 they're real.
 
Just realized they don't offer the digi cam with DLC blade..they only have Black/Black, Black/Satin and Digi cam/satin...guess I have to wait till they're back in stock in my primary knife shopping site

Paramilitary (1?) has a hump at the back of the blade...profile is different than the PM2.
Here is a link to the (1)...the first model. You can distinguish the two models quite easily by looking at the closed knife...and see the rise of the blade at the pivot/tang location on the (1).

Odds are good that the Paramiliary is exactly that...and not the 2. Let the buyer beware.

They come up on the exchange here fairly regularly. That is were I got all mine, and many, many more blades.

No disrespect was meant to the forums or the supporting dealers here. I was just trying answer the OP's question the best I could. I'm not suggesting Amazon over any supporting knife dealer, in fact, I suggest most of all to watch for one here on the Exchange over any option, as long as there's no rush on the purchase. I have had good experiences with Amazon, though, in that regard, and just felt it honest to share such. By all means, though, I would take an option that supports the forums here over an alternative, unless there exists a time constraint and/or availability issue.
