Ha, and I thought this thread was about how smooth the Para 2 is, and how you can close it just by disengaging the lock and watching the blade fall into the handle.
I don't know how to stop the pinching, the lock on mine doesn't travel enough for it to be a real issue, even when I try and cram the pad of my index finger in the lock.
I can see how it would be annoying though. Eventually your body will callous up the skin at that spot, and the thick hide will be able to deal with it better.
Edit: If you want to accelerate the process, I usually get callouses on the pads of my fingers from lifting dumbbells with a cross hatch pattern on the grip.
As for closing, I close the Para 2 the same as a lock-back. Disengage the lock with your thumb using the same grip position as you normally use the knife, and let the blade choil fall onto your index finger. Move your fingers out of the way and finish closing.
