para2 uneven grind???

Cool thanks guys.. My grandpa gave me a combo stone he's had in the box in his shop for 20 years but I haven't used it yet.. I'll end up learning freehand and prolly have a sharp maker as well I just haven't been able to spend the 60 bucks because every 60 bucks I have spare ends up turning into a new blade off amazon

This is my 2nd spydie and the sucker is insanely sharp but for 120 bucks seems the grinds should be even.. I'll post a picture off my phone if I can take a good one.. Should I contact spyderco?
- My ZT0777 didn't have perfectly even edges either and it's one of the priciest knives I own.

I reprofiled the edge on my Wicked Edge after a few days of use.

Hey rob, I'm going to give you some really good advice. Buy a sharpmaker and the additional diamond rods. Spend some hours reading and asking questions in the maintenance subforum and watch some videos. Take the time to learn this skill (anyone can be proficient with the sharpmaker and a little study). I cannot tell you how much more enjoyment I get out of my knives after taking the time to really learn to sharpen. So yeah, instead of blowing the next $100 on a new knife, get yourself a sm and diamond rods and you will get more pleasure out of ALL your knives!

Also...however sharp you think that factory edge is, once you become proficient at sharpening, your edges will be much, much sharper than that! Enjoy!
