I want to make a paracord shoulder strap. Any good ideas for the tying? Links and pics are much appreciated. Thanks.

What kind did you want to make and how much weight are you putting on it?

Since you are a paying member, do a search - there was a thread some time back about Daisy Chains and the like and there is one I put there (I call the Poser Braid ) that looks more neat and is wider, but still undoes as quickly. If you do a search on 'carabiner', you will probably find it.

Sorry I don't have the link. If you find it maybe you can post the link so I can record it.

Then there is the Slatts Rescue Knot belt.

On the other hand, you may not be looking for braid that can be quickly undone. In that case, completely disregard. :D

Time to pimp my sling!!!

I did one cobra stitch connecting the sling loops, the double over and did another one. Has about 80 feet of paracord.

VERY COOL!!!!! VERY TIME CONSUMING!!!!!

The king cobra stitch isn't time consuming at all. I did one starting from 100ft to make a strap and it took maybe an hour, hour and a half at most. Once you get the motion down, it goes fast.

The king cobra stitch makes a very nice strap. The only downside is that you can't yank it loose to get the paracord out of it. You have to untie each knot just like you tied them. There are certain braids that unravel very easy, king cobra isn't one of them.
