paracord that comes with our knives? what for?

hanging the knife around my neck, wrapping the handle in it. etc etc. for the izula that is

for my esee 3 it makes a good belt carry option

but it looks like adam beat me...

I wrapped my izzy with it. Belt carry is also good.
And if the occasion calls for it you can even use it string up an opponent from a tree, yes its that strong(it aint called 550 cord for nothing ;) ) Unless your opponent is suffering from very advanced form of obesity ofcourse.

the reason why i asked... is because i remember seeing a youtube video saying that you could use it to wrap around your leg... and I wasn't sure that was possible... not long enough!!! :D

i meant the piece that comes with our knives (RC3 and 6)

I use the cord that came with the RC3 to lash it to packs. Works well for horizontal carry on the waist belt of a pack, or inverted carry on a shoulder strap.

Well on my sitka, the little snap actually sometimes disengages, I decided as a safety, I used the spare cord to tie it into the webbing, same with my remora bag, I use tie to the top most of the web, and the cords been cut to length for shorter size, and keeps it in place.

I dunno why but my new junglas came with cord, my Mrs' didn't oddly lol.

i pocket carry an rc-3 sometimes, and use the bit of cord as a secondary retention in case the clip comes loose.

so i must have been mistaken about the tieing ( i don't know how to spell :D )to the leg :D

Does anybody actually tie the sheath around your legs???? (RC3 and RC6)

No but if you had Drop down molle back on it you could use the para cord as a thigh tie down to keep it from flopping. I use mine to secure my HEST to my belt.
