paracord ?

I get mine from supplycaptain.com. It's high quality stuff and they have a decent selection of colors so one can decorate in the camo pattern choice for the mood you're in.

PS, just becareful what you're buying. On the sites the term "paracord" can be thrown against a rather wide variety of thin cordage types. 550 is the seven strand inner core stuff thats the "duct tape of the rope world" (well put bye the way) I can't remember the actual name of it but some is thinner and has a foam looking core. Fine stuff for wrapping ect.. It's just a light duty thinner type of cordage thats obviously not as versitle in the ol' Go Bag kit since you can't dissassemble it and use the components for other purposes.

just got some para cord in the mail to play with and some beads ... the white is glow in the dark , also a trit vile and most the beads are glow in the dark.... going to take it out soon and see how easy it is to locate lol

Glow-in-the-dark paracord sounds pretty neat! That would make it easier to find your knife in the dark.

I guess I need to study how to make those knots for a lanyard...

I agree, the duct tape of the rope world. Never leave home without it, keep some in your vehicle, garage, tackle box, etc. Awesome stuff and can be used in array of situations.

How much is shipping from supply captain? Is this the real made in the usa stuff?

I just ordered 3 different colors from them, 100 feet each, and shipping priority mail was $6.00. They claim it is the real stuff according to their website, I haven't actually received my order yet. They did have some interesting neon colors.

They say it's USA made. I've got 6 or so colors from them. Good stuff. No complaints and the price is competive with about all the rest of the net.

Just opened up a package of 550 I got in the mail today...couldn't wait to start messing with it.
