Paradigm's are hitting the stores

Looks like they are finally making their way out to the sellers. Besides the ones that showed up on eBay, I just found a Pro in stock at the same dealer that I got one from before. They only had one Pro in stock and no Avids.
 
I bought one of each from the Ebay seller....now if only the Knifecenter ones come in....I will end up with TWO of each whan they FINALLY all get here!

The new higher price is why I decided to get one of each from the ebayer....there was not too much difference now that knifecenter went up!

I wonder if they will honor the original price that you ordered it at?
 
When will they be available on the Buck website????????

I'm pretty sure they will sell it at the lower price. I got my Vantage Avid for $27 at yourcornerstore in Feb. and that's gone up too.That one was in stock.I checked the Buck web store today and it says the Paradigim is currently unavailable.It's OK,I can wait. LOL I'll probably cut myself when I get it anyway.
 
I ordered from K. C. on 5-25 and got the lower price. 20% inflation in less than a week...
 
I know USA steel makers have been hit hard by the recession,Crucible was one of them. That could be the reason for the higher prices and the delay of the Paradigm due to lack of material.
 
Maybe if the cheap premium steel prices are getting out of hand, they will start to offer other premium steels again.

Not sure why the prices went up on several Bucks as you would think with the recsseion still in full force this is not the time for that. Bad night for this knife in my world as I got another email from knifecenter stating they are still not in stock, and the ebayer sent them insured, so they were to be delivered today, but I got the old" come and get them at the PO after you sign for them tomorrow" slip in my mail box!!!! Curse another day of waiting!
 
There was a long delay in the Paradigm's release due to manufacturing problems. This is costly. The money has to come from somewhere.
