Paradigm's are hitting the stores

The prices went up on the Vantage Pro also, and a few others, so not just the issue with manufactor. I do wonder if all the talk about the Vantage Pro being such a great value with the materials offered for the low price point being the reason for that item going up quite a bit at the same time.....

On the other hand......we said the same kind of things about the brass and rosewood Folding Kalinga Pro in S30V.

They didn't raise the prices, they discontinued it!

One to look at way is you beat the stock market big time in less than a week:eek: LOL

So, this business we have of pre-ordering, agreeing to purchase unavailable cutlery, is similar to agreeing to buy futures contracts. Promises travel in both directions between buyers and sellers. Too complicated for cutlery IMHO. The purchasing transaction becomes the focus and not the ownership or use of the item.

We become speculators and not users or collectors or accumulators.

Ahhhhh, what am I going on about? Roll those dice already!

It's hard to find a collector who is not looking to buy with an eye on potential gain.

That's speculation.....and the more advanced the collector, the more educated the speculation.

That's what most of us are about.

As for using......who can use a few hundred knives?

Most of the people here seem to be struggling to invent ways to use at least some of their inventory.

;)

So, being uneducated in the ways of Buck knives, how does the lock on the Paradigms work? Also, besides the opinions on the price, how are the Paradigms in general?
