This furnace is going to be my heat treat furnace. I ordered one today. Now I'll be able to heat treat as I go rather than spend a special day over a fire.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Andy, I have that exact same one. I really like it. I think you will too. Only problem is that your max knife length is only about 15" or so if you put it diagonally. Not really a big deal for me since I don't make anything bigger than that.

I haven't even ever drawn a knife larger than that. The biggest I've made so far is 10.5" long. And man, it seems so big to me. My ideal knife blade length is 4". So I figured, why set aside the extra shop space, and why deal with the extra power consumption?
