Is paragon worth the higher price tag?

Don't have a clue. Had a even heat for 17 years never had a problem.

I did a lot of research before I bought mine last year and couldn't come up with any reason to justify the cost difference personally. I'm real happy with the Evenheat but they are both good kilns.

If you end up with an Evenheat I recommend the Bill Burke mod which adds a thin layer of insulation between the firebrick and metal frame.

Since I don't have both kilns I can't compare. I can say I've got an evenheat pushing
20ish years with 0 problems.
