Kinda in the funk over the poor participation on contests tbh.

I'm guilty of poor participation for sure, been unable to get out in the woods and the porcine-riding content is just difficult for me as I live in the wrong part of the world for inanimate pigs; the only one nearby would take most of a day just to get to and back and I've not had that available for weeks. :(

Could be the time of year. Mostly though, me thinks, there's just not the amount of traffic here as there used to be.

I know I have been in a slump due to no new Beckers and no new Becker usage, eventually I just ran out of stuff to talk about that's Becker-related. I have my favorites, I sold off the ones I don't use, and I really haven't been using the ones I do have.

Compared to times past, traffic has gone way down. Unfortunate truth. And there is increased activity elsewhere, it is just the nature of things. Add to that actions by individuals that do the exact opposite of foster participation, the ease of just hitting like, and the other places we have to get together, and it all combines to mean less here.

Just the nature of things I guess, but compared to how it was last year, it is definitely on an uptick.

I can't say I've seen actions that dissuade participation, but I find the like button has its good uses on the forum. I personally try not to use it for anything more than acknowledgement of a good post; if it's worth a reply I'll hit like and also respond.

Well, I really wanted that Patrol Machete, after handling @mbay1455's. You beat me to the gun on that one! Let me know if you want to wheel n deal on a trade later on down the road or something! I saw that you have two of them!
I actually have four of them I think we can get together on this.

Let's just say you were going to reprofile a .250 Cam Machax to a convex. What's your thoughts 20°, 18°, 25°, even 15°

My thought is that a convex (round) bevel doesn't really have an exact angle. I would just take the shoulder off the bevel and blend it to the edge.
