Mine has the marks as well. As long as it doesn't affect the use I wouldn't worry about it.

both my pm 2 have these s30v and cts-20cp awesome knives used my s30v for a year straight at work killed all boxes and everything else needed to be cut.

In my mind this is a defect! It looks horrible! Spyderco should fix this issue! Its like buying a new car with a couple of spots were they decided not to paint on the hood!

Dude your being way too picky. I would understand if it were a custom but what do you expect out of a factory made product?

It's a good knife but come on, they could have fixed the two obvious issues! Factory or not!

Yup my Paramilitary 2 has those same marks. Long as the stainless steel liners are in there that's about as close as I look.

The marks are inside the handle. It took me a few days to even notice it.

Take it apart and sand them down then.

Hey drnoob, I have to agree with others that you are being a bit picky about a $100 production knife. As far as the idea that "it looks horrible", I would venture to guess that 99 out of 100 owners would never even notice that. I had never noticed it on either of mine. Not trying to say it shouldn't bother you...different stuff bothers different people. Just saying it's something that most wouldn't even notice.

Either way, once you can overlook that, I think you will really enjoy the pm2. It is a superb knife! Once you start using it some and fall in love with it, I'm betting you will forget about those little spots. Good luck and enjoy!

You seem pretty upset. Or maybe your period key is broken :p

I'm going with upset since you made a Youtube vid, and started a thread about it.
I wouldn't let that bother me one bit, but I'm sorry you're not happy with it.

I've never even noticed them on mine, but I'm sure they're there. Its a great knife, and I think you'll soon forget about it.

Mine has those too. I noticed them, was going to.say something...realized they were def some kind of machining marks, and kind of forgot about it until this thread. I'm OCD as hell about anything I spend any decent money on too, so I sort of understand. With that said, it's a great great knife!

Are you sure you should own and use knives? I'm not trying to be funny.

Wow! How 'bout a little cheese with that whine. Just because you can make a youtube, doesn't mean you should.

Mine has it as well and I could care less. This is a hard use work knife I plan to use it just like that. When I'm done, it will have many more love marks.
