Paramilitary 2 S110V backlog

There are two currently listed for sale on the Exchange. Definitely the best place to pick one up right now.
 
New batches are showing up now. I had one one preorder with KC for months and canceled it after seeing them at Blade HQ. I ordered it along with my Military 52100... and then KC ships mine the next day after I tried to cancel it. So now I have two S110Vs on the way. I'll probably send one back

Was told the manufacturer estimated delivery 1st quarter 2016.
Still no knife as of 6-11-2016.
All Knifeworks can tell me is they are not getting any from the factory.

Anyone know what's up with the delay?

Happened to my buddy too. He ordered last xmas, and only got emails saying they're working on it. He canceled and ordered (I think amazon) and got it in 3 days.

Amazing knife. I really like the paramilitary 2 in 110. The compression lock is my favorite part of the knife. Very easy open and close 1 handed.
I'm considering getting one. Wish they made an upgraded version though, better materials in handle and lock materials.
 
The S110V version IS an upgraded version.
Not sure what materials you'd prefer in a compression lock...
There are CF sprints, or if you really want upgraded handles, there's about half a dozen really good custom scale makers right here on these very forums.
 
I've had mine in my front left pocket everyday for 9 months now. (No preorder, just got lucky on BHQ) I can't find a single problem with the design, or steel. As long as I touch it up on the sharpmaker every month it's razor sharp after a few swipes. I strip multi strand electrical wire, plastic loom (protects wire harnesses), zip-ties, cardboard, prying plastic panels, cutting carpet, etc..... It isn't treated as a princess, if I don't have to crawl out of a car to grab another tool, I'll use the knife. It will take a solid month before I can't clean cut the top of a plastic bag holding hardware. (That's my dull test.. s35vn made it 2 weeks on average.)

I wonder if this will be offered with a black blade and hardware some time in the future? This is nice the way it is, I just lean toward black when it's an option.
