Paramilitary 2 SALT? Please w/ picture

Thanks Sal!
Bought my first Spyderco for $20.00 @ the DEMA trade show in the eighties. Have learned so much from the forum I had to join.

Big yes to LC200N, no to yellow G10. All yellow g10 will do is turn into a dirty yellow with some usage and the tiniest bit of dirt.

Yes please! Love the Salt series, God sent for us that lives around the water and or warm humid climate. I'd be curious to know the reason, with the popularity of the PM2 why Spyderco decided to design the Caribbean as their Salt compression lock option.
Is the Caribbean liner less in order to minimize the amount of non LC200N hardware? Blade geometry, pointy blades are not generally the most desirable for boating or diving?
Yes, Yellow..

That'd be a nonissue with the L200N blade! Just scrub it under some running water every once in a while. I guess you could do that with any blade, but I usually don't(wet paper towels are my go-to).

My KW Pm2 Cru w/smooth g10 is great , but Salt needs to be grippy for those using in aquatic endevor's. Hi vis yellow is a must, if it goes overboard! If the yellow got that stained, it's a proud EDC, right. We all have a couple drawer Queens, don't we?

The Caribbean is NOT linerless.

For myself, I like the Caribbean better than the PM2. It feels better in the hand to me. As far as pointy e is also a sheepfoot version of the .caribbean.

Ive been supporting/pushing this bad boy over on the SPyderco Forums . For those who'd like to see how it fairs as a trial sprint or limited run, well it would sell out simply because of colour and the fact it was limited. I have no idea on the business side of the company, their numbers etc, But I figure that if S30V is the main stay for PM2s and that Maxamet was ment to be and may still be in the permanent line up, the PM2 Salt would be the perfect permanentt opposite for the Maxamet version.

I didn’t know who to credit the photo to. Thanks for doing that. That photo was NOT something I did. I just liked it and wanted to share it from WWW.
