If you just keep your eyes open on the forums you will find what you want. Just like now. An orange one just showed up for sale and they do often. You just have to be on at the right time and have the money ready to spend. :D:D

Good Luck! kevin
Thanks I hope something will come up.

It will. Just dont be in a hurry. It is fun keeping your eyes open for what you want. If you are crazy like me you will go after it until you get what you want!! :D:D:D:D:D:D Kevin

That really helped. So it looks like the only ones I can afford are the brown, normal ones or if they make another run of the orange. If they do where can I find out?

I really love the look of Earth Brown honestly.
The only reason I like the brighter colors is because... I love bright colors, I love the variety, and they're just so pretty.
Just made a deal with Dan at Kryptoglow for some custom scales for my ZT 0560 and Spyderco Chokwe. Blue and Toxic Green lol.
I'm also a girl lol.
But, that aside, I really love Foliage Green, Tan, Earth Brown, and Camo scales.

If I were you.. get the black blade, camo handle Para2, in s30v. That one is just beautiful and won't cost as much, that one would be my pick.
Now if it were black blade/blue handle that'd be a different story lol.

Also.. you could always buy one of the s30v Para2's for like $100.
Then get a pair of scales made by Dan(like I am) for $50 bucks.(or possibly get a discount if he uses your scales as a template.)

Then you have a knife for $150ish in the color you want and didn't have to spend an arm and a leg.

I have the grey, brown, and the camo para 2s. If you want to stay on the cheap side, I would say get one of the camo pm2 in black or satin blade. If you want an exclusive at a great price, get the brown one. If you go to the dealer forums there's a seller who has one more I believe. Hope this helped.

I blame you for Lime Green glow Scale I just bought for my ZT 560 :)

Do you prefer black blades? Why? Would camo or black be more edc friendly ?
I definitely do NOT prefer black blades or camo anything for edc. I think black looks tactical and mean to many people, while digi camo brings the military to mind and insinuates its a weapon. Black handle satin blade works just fine. The biggest problem with bright colored g10 is that it gets REALLY dirty looking REALLY fast, other than that the sprints are better only for the steel.

I think il get the blacked out version. The camo is a little much and regular satin blade is just like my tenacious so I want to get something different.

I really like the satin blade. It looks great in person. I think the grind lines and the degree of polish the steel has just looks good. Glad they have done all sprints in satin blade. Anyway, get a black/satin for a user, IMO, and get a brown one to have a sprint that you can keep clean but fondle if you wish :) Then hunt down an orange or blue and go from there. I have a regular black one and I also have an orange one with a really awesome lanyard with black and orange paracord and a matching satin bead. I also just got charged for the brown one I preordered, so that's in the mail and my little PM2 collection is finally taking shape :) I REALLY want a blue one because I just think it looks awesome and I love the steel. I also love CTS-XHP, though, and I went straight for the orange first because I love that color and I collect orange knives in general (so stoked about the little batch of new orange Skyline's that just came out and the orange G10 scales that just became available again for the ZT 0550!!!!).

I like the regular too but I hate the pocket clip. It reflects so much and everyone stares at it. I carry a knife with a black pocket clip and it's fine. If I had a sprint I wouldn't care who sees it. Pull it out and bam the bright flashy colors.

I'm considering buying a Military in digicam and then dyeing the scales red. The photos that I've seen of those look good and somewhat unique.

I am pretty sure that that Willie come out just red camo maybe even brown. You have to take into account the color the g10 already is. If you had yellow g10 tried to make it blue it would come out green unless you soak it for a very long time and even then it's not garenteed. If you really want red you should get custom scales.

Actually. The red on the Camo scales comes out really well.
A guy(someone I consider a friend) on this forum did his Para2 and Military this way and they turned out really great.

The way I see it though.. most people don't care about the color of your knife. All they think is "Oh wow, he has a knife."
As long as you use your knife like it's meant to be and you're not waving it around and pulling it out randomly just to show you have one(I understand being proud of a knife but to stay out of trouble we have to keep cool :D Lol) and it is legal in your state, I don't see you having any problems.

So, get the blade color or handle color you want, treat your tool the way it's meant to be, use then put away, know your legal rights, and you should be good to go. =]

I hate spell check. That's interesting that the camo comes out well I've seen people dye green red and it come out brown. Thanks so much bladechick you have been a great help with everything.

Monitor spyderco forums for up coming releases, perhaps you could get in on a run with one of your color preferences. But as you know print runs are usually well over $100.

Hit the streets for more mowing jobs!
