Paramilitary 2 with titanium scales and acid etched blade

That looks awesome, if that was production I'd be all over it. Great work!

Both sets of scales are from John Grimsmo. You can find him easily with a Google search. He does make these as a product although he is sold out of all the titanium scales for now. I think he is keeping a list though of interested customers and considering doing another run so send him an email if you want to get on it.

I have not weighed them but John has and said they are only slightly heavier than the G10. He milled pockets on the inside to keep the weight down.

Those black on black PM2 looks great! Been meaning to pick one of those up but haven't gotten around t it yet. It will serve you well, Spyderco makes great knives. :)

You did a really fantastic job on that one. I am really wanting a set of the plain Ti.
 
Nicely done, Zephy! I got a pair of plain bronzed Ti scales from John and they are fantastic. He makes quality stuff.

the honeycomb scales are amazing, do you know if he can made a pair for a Spyderco Military?
 
Hopefully sal is looking at this. Maybe they can come out with the para2 Ti scales cruwear blade. I'll take 2 please!!
 
Thanks guys, I did these mods almost a year ago and they are still my two favorite PM2s. Unfortunately I don't think John is making any more PM2 scales at this time. I don't know if he ever will, his own custom knives like the Norseman seem to be really taking off which is great, he is a great guy and I am very happy to see his success.

Great mod on the Para.
This is the first time I've seen it and its the best looking Para I've seen.

I think when he offered them you could request different ano colors so there might be some blue ones out there. I think he only did one small run of the Ti handles though and that was all.
