I really like the digicam model.

The scales are translucent unlike all previous models.

The only thing we know is that Sal had a prototype Para 2 in his pocket a couple weeks ago.:cool:

I hope its available before summer 2010. Since I am new to spyderco does anyone know if its likely to keep the same basic size and look ?

I carried and really used a black PE Para for about a year and just recently traded it and some cash for a Strider SnG. The SnG is already gone and I'm in a desperate search for another Para. For me there simply isn't a better EDC out there!

Ya you can't go wrong EDC'ing the almighty para! 5.56 has one of his digi camo paras on sale in the BST forum if you are still searching. Looks like he takes care of his blades.

I made a mistake, the DigiCamo Para is not for sale.

I'm keeping my Millies and P-Mil's, the rest are gone. I am going to start looking at other manufacturers now. I'm not going to discuss politics in this forum, so we'll leave it at that.

I'll probably break down and buy a Para2 when it comes out, but aside from that I think I am done with Spyderco.
 
Politic issues with spyderco? Thats news to my ears. Would you mind PMing me your concerns? I'm just intrigued is all. Thanks

Ouch!! That is not comforting. Care to share? I lost a Paramilitary and really mis it. I just bought a CF Manix2 but hope to get another Paramilitary with digi scales. Now I don't know since 5.56 now has me thinking Spyderco sucks.
 
He didn't say Spyderco sucks. He said he will be exploring other knives a bit more.

Your right. I took it out of context but there seems to be something there. It could be he is just bored with Spyderco and wants a change.
 
+1 for the para..I'v got the d2 green. Love the heck out it. I did actually break the tip off.... using it for what it was not meant to be used for... but after a good bit of work with a file she's back to self.
 
Just picked up a digicam Para with black S30V blade. My 3rd Para, and probably my favorite. I've never been into the tactical blades per se, but there's something about that combo that just looks right.
