I have both but can only keep one so if you had to choose one, which one would you keep and why? Both are great knives and I like them both but....

The Native fits my hand better but has a smaller blade. I like the locking on the PM2 better and the idea of it being open so easier to clean but it does feel a little too big for a decent grip.

So I ask you all for some opinions and comments! Thanks in advance! :D

Carry both for a bit and see if one stands out, then you sell which ever one you don't want to me! ;)

I have both the para 2 and the native 5, I carry the native more. I like the back lock and mine locks up perfect, I also like the the thinner blade of the native more too. Both are great knives, but for my light uses the native is as much knife as I need in a smaller package.

the paramilitary. keep it. It is clearly the more user friendly platform.

Truly though that is quite the difficult decision.

Mail them both to me and Ill give you my expert personal opinion on which one you should keep (and which one i will gracefully offer to take off your hands)

S110v > cts-204p

I think I would rather have my forum knife

So far, I am leaning towards the Native 5 as it just seems to fit my hand better . Both knives are flawless, perfectly centered and lockups are excellent! Keep the comments coming! :D

Speaking from experience here..... Keep both and find another way to get your money back! Those are both great knives that you can't just get anywhere. But if I had to keep one, I would go with the native. I like the feel and blade better, and I personally prefer the lock too.

Yep, you're eventually going to regret selling one of those two amazing knives.

You guys aren't much help! LOL

I thought about keeping both but just can't justify it unless I can sell a NIB PM2 camo/satin but so far no luck! :)

Find some rich young widow who needs some "company", but doesn't want the complications of a long term relationship. Tell her you don't want money, that would cheapen the beautiful thing you have going, but she can just give you a knife each time. Sell a couple, but keep the rest for "sentimental value".

I think that blade/handle length, blade shape, ergonomics, size, feel, lock mechanism... ect, all together are more important than blade steel.
They'll both hold a wicked edge for a long time. I have both and I prefer the Para II.

ergos for the win. if it fits your hand better I say Native 5..... not to mention the steel ;). how many chances will you have to own a production knife in s110v for under 150? Para 2 sprints will come and go but this one is just special :)

I agree. If it feels better, go with it.

I cosign. N5 is very user friendly, a joy to use and carry. PM2's are always a good choice also but this recent 110v version N5 is indeed special and worth keeping IMO.

I prefer the ergos, lock, and size (I prefer 3.5-4" blades) of the Para 2, I like S110V better for the longer edge holding. Keep the green one ;)
