I know there is more than one custom maker named Pardue, but I think this an early Mel Pardue Kris. I tried to contact him via his website, but no response. Has anyone here any information they could share with me? I purchased the knife from a small shop in Tucson 18 years ago. Any thoughts on what it might be worth? It has never been carried, sharpened, or used by me. Very minor scuffs/scratches on bolsters. Lockup is tight.

Looks like a very early Mel pardue. I don't think it would be worth much if anything at all. The curvy blade would not be very popular IMO

It's a Pardue dagger, it's worth something.

My guess is at least $350 but we can't see the whole knife (a Benchmade Pardue dagger goes for $120). The scuffs may be minor, but the pivot pin shows on both sides of the bolsters.

Very interesting knife. Just bought one with a wooden handle at an estate sale in a box of other knives. I caught my eye with the smoothness and ease in which the it operates. Never heard a a Pardue knife until I seen the name on it. I just spent 4 hours online and the #5 series shown here is the only other example I found so far. Would assume they have some rarity. For my $ which was meager investment. Best folding knife buy far I have ever put my hands on.
