Parents meet the Canadian locals !

My parents are over from the UK and I took them for a hike today to meet some of the locals !

First off we saw some Deer by the waters edge....

We then stopped for a drink and I caught a Garter Snake...

My Dad was quick to hold it but my Mum declined...

We then watched some Seals in the water, not bad for a first full day eh !!!:thumbup:
 
I'm jealous of your big outdoor playground! Looks like your parents had fun too :D
 
i sooo want to move from my land locked part of the U.S. I really like the pic of the deer, that turned out good.
 
great pics.... again...:thumbup: i need to get out that way one of these days... it's gorgeous....
 
Hey guys just wait for winter time atlist then we could feel better about living in CA lol. But yea i wish i could spend lots of time out there myself. Love watching the pics you post Pitdog. Here its mostly very pretty BROWN lol. Dont be surprised to find half the people on this board at your house when you get home. To prevent that from happening you should post some pics of traffic and people with BOOM boxes scaring everything with in 5 mile..... Well thats how SO CALI is all about lol. Post more more i say..
I bet your dad had lots of fun on his first day lol.

Maybe I can convince my Dad he needs a knife on his belt before he goes back to the UK !!!!

Well my parents head back to the UK today but I think they have enjoyed their first visit to Canada !
They wanted to see some wildlife and in the two weeks they were here saw a Black Bear, A Mink, Snakes, Deer, Seals, Turtles plus birds such as Hummingbirds, Turkey Vultures and Eagles !!!
When I get chance I will post some more pics of their stay !!!
 
I'm thinking PitDog has some professional background experience in photography! These pics are just too well-executed! PitDog should be elevated to and knighted as "Forum Fotographer".

I must point this out.....Mrs Pit took the photo's which is why I am some of them !
If I don't point this out, she will !!!!:D
 
Excellent pictures pitdog and Mrs pit :thumbup: , Thats some amazing country you have over there, Did you manage to convince your old man that he needed a knife on his belt.:)
 
He did take one with him when they went up Island but as someone mentioned the knife laws in the UK are very over the top !!!:thumbdn:
He does have a small necker that I bought him before we came out to Canada !!!!:thumbup:
