Paring an electrician's cat?! **WINNERS ANNOUNCED**

I applaud you for your generosity and this great giveaway. I have a well-loved Mercator and I use my Opinel paring knife daily, yet I lack a TL-29 and you have a particularly beautiful example there--so please, consider me throwing in for the Ulster. Thanks for the chance!

I would love a chance at any of the three (now four). Thank you so much!

I'm clearly more of a lurker than a poster myself. I can't justify cluttering up a good thread unless I feel I can really add something to it.

I'm in for the Mercator or the Opinel. I already have a TL that I never carry, but I've been itching to try a Mercator. Of course you can't go wrong with a great kitchen slicer either...

Thanks!
Neil

Not an entry ,but good on you for your generosity...Indeed a great place to be part of................................FES

Decided to throw another one into the mix for the weekend bump... so now we gets four winners! I'll just go down the line messaging the winners picked in order to find out which knife they want. So if you've already entered and are picked as a winner but would rather have this stockman over the others I'll check with you first, no worries.

The added knife...

D.) Kutmaster, Utica, NY, USA 3 7/8" Stockman

Synthetic covers. These blades are super thin and look to be mostly full, even have good edges on them that don't need much touching up. Blades are tight with good snap, sheepsfoot and spey rub. Crack on center pin. Clip sits low in the frame and tip smacks the backspring. Previous owner was aware of this as I had found an ancient piece of pulverized steel wool sitting under the kick when cleaning it out! Should make a real solid user.

Still announcing winners Monday evening. Have a good weekend all~

This could be just in time ~ as I am getting ready to retire my Opinel after about 15 years of great service and was going to get a new one ~~ so think of me on the Opie.! { and yours is different and looks like it would fit right in here. }
Thanks for the chance.!

I have one of those Opinel paring knives - it's as sharp as my #9 and took a good patina. Love it.

Order of preference is TL29, stockman, mercator
thanks for the generosity and the chance.

i don't have any old-old american patterns,so i would be happy with Kutmaster or TL-29 ;)
Thanks for your generosity .

Haven't seen one of those Black Cats since I left GErmany last, and strangely do not have one any more. I'd be pleased with that or the stockman; both good using knives. Thanks for the chance.

I'm in, please, and, thank you.

Preference: 1) Opinel, 2) Kutmaster, 3) Mercator, 4) TL-29

The Ulster and opinel would be cool. I am getting my wife kitchen knives for Christmas and she just broke the paring knife last week. That would be a test ample.

Jon, thank you sir.
Holy cow, I've never won any GAW before, maybe I should go buy a few lottery tickets, this is awesome, a nice welcome into traditionals, which I've just recently started to venture into.

PM replied.

Jon thanks for the chance and a big congrats to the winners. I have a few of those Opinels and they flat rock in the kitchen.
