Hey all, i made this little guy out of a sawblade the other day. i scandi ground it with a mirror bevel.
The handles are brazillian cherry with gunstock oil. Brass pins.
Heat treat was as follows- normalized after grinding, heated in a camp fire untill de magnetized, quenched in motor oil, file tested for hardness, tempered at 375 for 2 hrs. edge bevel was then hand sanded and polised on a buffing wheel.

5.5 oal
2.5 cutting edge

asking $95 shipped, i have not made a sheath but will include another one i found made of cordura that fits it in case someone wants it as a skinning knife instead of a kitchen knife.
paypal goodshepherdknives@yahoo.com thanks for looking, comments/questions welcome here or pm

That looks like a great user for the kitchen! The grip looks great for "choking up" and peeling veggies. And recycled steel is always great - good job
