Did you lose any cutting edge?
Fantastic.No sir!
I will keep that in mind. Thank you for the advise!Fantastic.
One quick and easy tweak that you may want to keep in mind, break the corners of the micarta, where you removed the choil area.
That 90° corner can be a little rough under extended use, and just a rounding of the corner, or more a more drastic thinning will work wonders.
Again, nice work.
Dremel cut off wheel at low speed. 3/4 inch sanding drum in cordless drill on 1. 1000 grit sandpaper to smooth the edges. It looks great!!! What was the process you used??? And what tools?
Everyone knows I love me some choiles!!!
I would suggest chamfering the edges of the grip now like this.

Would like to chamfer the edges but I noticed that anything I did to the green micarta turned it white.
When you get a choil hater on board, you know you done good!Choil hater here, that looks pretty nice, well done.
