Josh did a great job as usual...is that a flat grind or a high-hollow? Looks like a hollow grind...Gorgeous work. Glad for you.
I agree with the guys that suggested a rougher grind...would guess that 320 grit would give it the bite that you want. Going to do the same thing with my 0.125" Game Warden... just wish it were hollow-grind also...

I wish Busse would release some new models that were partial serrated, or had them on spine. Especially sykcos. I cut meat/bone/plastic and abrasive stuff way more than wood, so they coke in handy plenty. Something like scrapper 5 with an aggressively toothed serrated spine would really make me happy.

Man , I love that REK mod and Varminthunters recurve- I want BOTH in a combo! That would be a badass little butter knife. I really really dig that idea. Great work by all! and you too Dave of course! .... but I do like that REK retained the talon hole. I've see a few of you mod those out before, I'm not quite to that point of radicalness- never say never, only not for now, still sippin this beer
