Hello All..
I would greatly appreciate any help I can get regarding a butterfly knife that I have.It is a Parker / Eagle brand # F225. I can't seem to find any info about this knife. The blade is approx. 5" long. The handles seem to be die cast. The word "Gypsy" is engraved on the blade, along with an eagle.
Thanks in advance

Kactlc,

I have 4 knives made by Parker Cutlery. two of them are Bali-Songs, one is a lockback folder and the last is a double edged, folding, push-dagger. All are beautiful, well made knives. I purchased them in the 80's during business travels in europe.

The company has, I believe, been out of business for quite some time now. Too bad. I would buy more of their knives in a heartbeat if they were of the same quality as those I have now.

If you go to the following web-site, you'll find several pictures of Parker Bali-Songs with the Gypsy logo. There are also photos of other beautiful Bali-Song collections there.

The gentleman who has the web-site is very knowledgeable and may be able to shed some light on your Bali.

Another excellent site is Gollnick's Bali-Song Collectors Page. Loads of info, history, and current market values. His site is at:

If anyone can help you, these two gents can.

Gollnick's market watch page has photos of Parker gypsys and recent selling prices.
That particular model has always been a personal favorite.Good balance and smooth-very fast to manipulate.
