Hi,
New to the thread after reading very old back posts.
I picked up a Parker Edwards Single Blade Folding Pocket Knife.Eagle Logo No. A95155S at an estate sale.
Wonderful knife and in fairly good condition.

Two questions:
I believe the bolsters on this are nickel silver. Is there any way to clean them and stop the oxidation. Looks worse in the photos than actual.

Also, I am not sure if this is wood or bone.
Did they make these in wood?

Thanks. I look forward to your comments and help.

It's nickel silver and wood. The nickel silver will shine up with any polish. If you don't have polish, you may be able to shine it up with a rag, or a damp rag dipped in cigarette ash will polish it up.

Never heard of using cigarette ash as polish. Amazing.

Thank you so much.

Flitz Metal Polish works like a charm on nickel silver and brass. The handle material looks like some type of laminated wood. Nice knife!

^^ Yep, Flitz is a great choice. And silver polish is available just about everywhere, and a $5 bottle will likely last you a lifetime. For the wood, try a little mineral oil to condition the wood and bring the colors out. Don't overdo it though - start out with just a light application, and take it from there.

Thanks for sharing, btw! Great find!
