Parker Fixed Blade Info Wanted.

I recieved this Parker Cutlery Bowie awhile ago, I'm wanting some info on it if possible.

Age? Model? Price?

Knife weighs 11.8 oz. Sheath weighs 3.8 oz.

8" Blade, 14" OAL.

Any info would be great.

With parker knives you will not find much on pricing. Parker has authored collector books on his knives, but the prices he gives are not in reality. Parker knives have always been "inexpensive" and do not tend to bring very good prices. There are people that collect parker knives and to them it they would have some value, but to most people the collectability isnt much there. Most parker knives have cost between $5-45-46? dollars. I have seen parker knives listed in parkers book as having (example) a $45 dollar value for a stockman, when in reality the value is closer to $18 dollars.

Unfortuantely you will not find much material as far as collecting prices on his knives, except for what he (parker) writes.
