what are the pros and cons of parkerizing a blade? anything wrong with cutting meat with a parkerized blade?

I don't know about parkerizing some finish's may require heat to much heat can damage a blade and parkerized metal is not that protected i have a couple guns that are parkerized and they can still get rusted their is a guy the only guy that tephlons weapons all of sigs guns that are not stainless colt too even nighty percent of the US military branches FBI. ATF is the only one I think doesn't he invented this stuff not the frying pan stuff thats not the same. It is rust proof self lubricating wicked as all get out he did it for benchmade and Ermerson knives too and many others but he quit some didn't want to pay and still owe him thousands of dollars he told me he would do small batches for me but I know the guy and live close to him super great guy though now would he do the same for you I don't know but thats what I would do

To the question. To keep park from rusting you keep it oiled. If the blade to parked is going to be used for a a lot of food prep, i would use a food safe oil on it.

Crap on a pogo stick man, my brain hurts from reading that post. Please for the love of god put some periods in your posts. If not just for my sanity. Entertaining though to say the least:D.
