Lots More to come. Really happy with the results. Still Doing testing on durability, but so far seems pretty tough.

This is pretty cool. I was a little disappointed the newer Beckers had the text just printed on the blade instead of stamped.

If you could put Beckerhead numbers on the new knives (or as a custom service) I think that would keep you bu$y as well!

P.S.
If you could just stop doing stuff that makes me want to send you my money I would really appreciate it.:)

edit for mispelings

Parkerizing goodness. Perfection.

I'll start eating ramen everyday and save some pennies.

P.S. Does anyone know how well parkerizing holds up to heavy use? A great test would be to baton and then let it stay in a humid environment and assess how good it lasts.

Black phosphate?

Ding Ding Ding! We have a winner!

So yea been playing around with Parkerizing. Can do the Black Manganese Phosphate coating as well as the Grey Oxide. Haven't done the grey yet yet though.

Will be doing some tests to see how it holds up under heavy use, but from what I have seen so far, it does really well.

So I finally have the equipment I needed and now I can electro etch the logos really deep, Strip the coating, Blast the metal, then Park it to perfection!

Impact sockets are parkerised. If you have those it will give you an idea of how well it holds up. I can tell you if you don't keep it oiled, or waxed, it WILL rust. The black phosphate, or black oxide coating is a form of etching. The surface just holds oils, and waxes better. It's not a way to deter rust on its own.

STILL... IT IS AWESOME AND MY FAVORITE!!!!
