Thanks Guys! It's turning out really good. Getting the hang of it for sure.
Gonna do some brand new knives later this week and see how they come out.
The ones I have done so far I actually parked a few times to figure out times and temps and stuff so they aren't perfect. But they did end up looking really good once I finally got everything dialed in correctly.

And so far the durability is hold up nicely. Hacked my BK-4 into a log about 50 times this morning as hard as I could burying the blade pretty deep, and there is just minimal wear on the finish. Also hit the spine about 10 times with a hard stick like you would when battoning and it didn't even make a mark.

+1 on the super glue. I have several body parts that have benefitted from it. Includung my nose. Justnworks wonders. But get it where you want it the first time.

Thanks man. And yes Super Glue is awesome. I actually prefer brush on nail glue. Ever since I started studding Classical Guitar back in 2000, I have had to play with my finger nails and I learned over the years how awesome the stuff is. It is basically superglue with an anti fungal agent in it so it is great on nails or skin! There have been a few times where I probably needed stitches, but I chose to glue it up myself. lol
