I have a knife that I para cord wrapped and epoxy sealed with the west systems stuff . Does anybody know what kind of heat tolerance it has . Can it take the 180 -190 degrees if I wanted to parkerize it or do I have to try to grind the cord off:eek: . I also heard that you can wax the parts you don't want parkerized. Is it true

Any resist that will hold up to the heat will work. If you have a solid coat of the epoxy over all the paracord and it is water tight I would think the epoxy should hold up. At 200f it might soften it a bit. See my other post for further info.
