Bicycle Observed Trials. Good stuff. Check out a guy named Ot Pi, he is amazing.
I used to ride motorcycle observed trials at the amateur club level, still have a Gas-Gas TXT 280 (01) in my garage. Motorcycles are difficult enough, I can't imagine doing it on a bicycle.

DaddyDett... I used to ride Observed Trials back when I was a youngster!
When I was got interested in Trials the "must have" motorbikes were Bultaco and Montesa.
Anyone else old enough to remember them?![]()
I remember Montesa, Ossa, Bultaco.
Montesa (now partially owned by Honda) still produces trials bikes. In the 2000 time frame, the Bultaco name was resurrected for a short time, but is now Sherco. Ossa has gone the way of the dinosaur.
The modern bikes are amazing to ride, ultra manageable power and great handling. At 156 lbs wet, my Gas-Gas is now heavy by comparison to the 09's. Out of the crate, a modern bike is very rideable for all levels, up to and including the top 5 Natl riders. They change the shocks, and maybe do a lil carb work, that's it!
