Can anyone tell me where I can get parks 50 in small quantities such as 5 gallons or less for a fairly reasonable prices????
Thanks in advance
Jim

^^^ Yes sir, maxim is where I got mine. 5 Gall is the least they'll sell. Also send them an email in order to order it and tell them you want to buy Parks 50. Last time I checked I don't think it was actually listed among their other oils on their site, at least not as "Parks 50", I think it's also called "Heatbath" or something. But yea, they'll know what you're talking about :) I think it cost me about ~$120 after shipping for the 5 gallon pail.

I'm going to order me a pail of this myself here soon. Since we're on the subject I'm curious if you guys using it use the whole 5 gallons or do you use half of it and save the other half?

I've read that it lasts a very long time if well maintained and I like the idea of having enough volume you don't have to worry about it cooling if doing large batches vs say a gallon or two.

I am using the whole 5 gallons. It will keep just as well in the quench tank covered up as it would in the pail it came in. And really why not use all of it?

I suppose to have extra on hand if it went bad or was spilled or some other anomaly. I notice I try to conserve my consumables as much as possible, sometimes to my detriment.

Kelly Cupples sells Parks 50, AAA and also quench oil accelerator.
His number is 1(509)949-5231. Great guy to deal with also!
