Part 2. . . Here Are The Recently Found Nuclear Payload Pics. . . .

Better hurry! I cool my liquor outside and winter is coming! Should be cold enough in a couple of months to freeze the bottle solid.

I just received pics of the Illinois tag. . . . I won't say who sent them, but Congrats to Strabs Of Bacon!!!!. . . . From the picture, it looks like it was a $1,000.00 tag!!!. . .. . . Who'd of thunk it?!!

I must've hit the winery first and then buried the tag!!!

Nice try Old Guard HOGs!!!

Jerry

.

Dang! I would have caught a flight for one like that!!!

Congrats Strabs :thumbup::thumbup:

I'll believe it when I see the pics for myself. What better way to never have that tag show up than to tell us it is found. Very sneeky Jerry. :D

For $500 or $1000, I would bet Jerry is ready to pull any trick out of his hat to keep the HOGs running in circles. Somebody better hit the road and put these tricks to rest once and for all.

Perhaps one of us already has the tag and we are just playing mind games with each other.

Wow, drove right by it in March en route to Cats Edwards display grounds.

Wondered what blinded me there for a second....

I'm telling you guy...."Don't waste your time, there's nothing there!"

WHO...? is going to post pictures???

You guys can chase tags, while I have a map from Jerry for some old buried treasure; I'll be digging this weekend. :D

I have been trying to get Jerry to send me a treasure map for some buried steel since I started collecting. A newly inducted Hog snags a map before me? You must be sending Jerry some serious scotch or buying a ton of blades! :D

 hmmm...... I can't remember if you were at the table in the Pit when Jerry was talking about various places he has buried knives. He started to describe a particular location, but couldn't remember it's name. I recognized what he was describing, so I pulled up a chair next to him, grabbed a napkin and a pen, and pumped him for as much as he could recall. I was just in the right place/right time. I'll let you now if it's still there. ;)

Cool. That might be the only way to get a map of buried steel. Rumor has it he has many maps sitting about the shop in a far off dark corner, but hasn't come across them yet.

OK, with Progunners doubt if the tag was found in IL. I just pulled in Peoria, checked in my motel and imediately took a trip to Kickapoo Winery, found the streets, the sign, and the rock. Picked up the rock.......just dirt below! If business would have just put me there 5 weeks ago.......I know, I know, but just that one chance!!

I was there a few weeks ago, no luck. :grumpy: I have a PM in to Jerry, with pics, to confirm the location, but have not heard back yet. I SHALL return!

I'm NOT surprised... It's been there for something like 5 years... In landscape beds right off one of the sets of stairs. (without giving up too much detail here! LOL) By now, I'm betting that they've been dug up and replanted, and it was probably found by one of the employees... :grumpy: LOL, I warned Jerry that this might be the case... Same deal, apparently, with the Jekyll Island site, LOL

...Ah well, I know the location of one other... Unless IT'S been found too! Nice fat tag.
