That knife is just flat gorgeous!! Great lines and design, plus the materials and their use make it really POP!

Love to get ahold of one of those.

This one was from the sample runs of the main conductor of the Super Collider project that was started in Texas years ago. The project was scrapped due to budget cuts.

Nice knife! I prefer the Cu-Nb with some coloring but this still looks cool.

I remember the SSC project vividly--my father's company was asked to put in a quote on some specific electrical components. He ended up figuring they would have to tool up for 100% production going to the SSC for several years, but would have no other customers by the time they were done with the contract! Naturally he turned it down. :D

That Cu-Nb is an interesting bit of history. When it's all used up, it'll be gone forever!
