And Part 4 is here (additional knives):

And Part 5 is here: https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/part-5-of-afaustin’s-5th-annual-going-to-the-dogs-sale.1526764/#post-17532015
Everything’s the same as in Parts 1 & 2, including that 100% of the proceeds will go to the pups, but here in Part 3 I’m offering up a couple of additional knives and re-listing with price reductions those remaining from Part 1 (I’ve also reduced prices on the remaining Part 2 knives—please see that thread.)
For convenience sake, let me repeat the ground rules:
Details:
Prices include shipping, USPS 1st Class, w/ Delivery Confirmation. PayPal or m.o. only. I'll cover the PayPal fees, so go ahead and list it as a sale of goods, not a gift. (If you want insurance, let me know and I will figure your cost. Otherwise, I will not be responsible for items lost or damaged in the mail.)
Please understand that I have the right to sell or not sell to whomever I choose.
1st unconditional "I'll take it", followed up with prompt payment. For PayPal info. or questions, please e-mail me at: aforsythe4 (at) austin (dot) rr (dot) com
Once we have a deal, please post "I’ll take it" in this sales thread (if you haven’t already). The new BF software requires that in order for us to exchange feedback, which I think is important.
By buying these knives you are stating that you are at least 18 years of age, and otherwise in compliance with all applicable laws regarding them.

International Sales Policies:
1) I fill out the Customs forms accurately, and so I will list this as a sale/commercial transaction, not as a gift.
2) You assume responsibility for any mishaps with Customs or shipping.
3) We will agree on the manner and additional cost of shipping before finalizing the deal. Also, PayPal charges a higher fee on international sales, so I will approximate that and add it to your total.

Now without further ado, let’s get to the knives!
Thanks for helping the pups!
Andrew
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1) GEC #72 (#725213) Cody Scout Jack in Black Micarta. Carried and used lightly and sharpened to nice edges. I also smoothed out a little the steep belly on the main and it’s now "pointier" and has a more pleasing shape, IMO. I also smoothed out the sharp GEC tangs. Snaps shut with authority but not hard to open, especially since the nail nick is positioned forward on the main.
A stout and attractive knife, and the black micarta is beautiful.
No tube. $75.00 SOLD
2) Case #TB62028 Tear Drop Jack in Red Sawcut Bone. Stainless blades. New, unused, unsharpened. Springs are flush in closed, half, and open positions, which is a nice touch often found in the TB designed models. It’s more fire engine red than the orange tone shown in the pics.
Includes box & paperwork. $45.00 $40.00 SOLD
3) Case Muskrat in Smooth Persimmon Orange Bone. Stainless blades. There is a story on this one. I bought one of these new and sharpened it up on my WSKO. The long thin blades took great edges and were very slicey. But there was a bit of a proud spring on the mark side when the blade was open. I ultimately decided to send it in to Case as per their excellent warranty. They took care of it and sent me back this knife, which is very nice---no proud spring, great walk & talk, and no blade rub that I can see. It’s obvious that the blades are brand new because they have factory edges, but I can’t tell if they just replaced the blades or sent me a whole new knife because the scales look about the same as the ones on the original knife. Whew—long explanation, but wanted to give the full background.
The upshot is that the knife is basically new, unused, unsharpened, and without the proud spring which I gather may happen sometimes on Case Muskrats: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...-Lets-Talk-Muskrats!/page3?highlight=Muskrats
Includes box & paperwork. WITHDRAWN
4) Case Mini Copperhead in Smooth Persimmon Orange Bone. New and unused. Stainless blades. Minor rub mark on pile side of main blade. I wrote a little about my fondness for this pattern here: https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/to-have-and-to-hold-getting-a-grip-on-small-trads.1502457/
Includes box & paperwork. $39.00 $35.00 $33.00 SOLD
5) Case Panama Trapper in Ebony. Tony Bose design. 2013 SHOT Show knife. Distinctive swedges. Unused with factory edges. Stainless blades. A big (at 4 5/8" closed) and beautiful knife.
No box. $75.00 $69.00 SOLD
6) Case #63032 Stockman in Chestnut Jigged Bone. CV blades. Sharpened to nice edges, used, and carried. The tang on the sheepie is filed down so that it sits low when closed, and it’s sharpened down to resemble a long thin coping blade. All blades have ample rub marks. Nice little user.
Came to me with a Case box, but for a different knife (Texas Jack), and that box is included. $25.00 $20.00 $17.00 SOLD
