Amy-O first IM NOT pissed AT ALL....LIfe ALWAYS has a way of fu@$ing with you....(at least it does me anyways)....and I choose to go with the flow ...I ALWAYS try to find humor in almost everything and really enjoy practical jokes....Well "life" (the universe, god, GOD, the flying spaghetti monster, little bunny foo-foo, or what ever it is one thinks controls the big picture) got me on one...I thought it was kinda of funny...IT WOULD HAVE BEEN HILARIOUS HAD I GOT THE JAY WALKING TICKET. I TAKE TOTAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE TRIP. I know you posted and reposted and even bumped it several times....I, me, myself missed it...thats it. I only intended to make a cleaver funny story but my writing style seems to be more like Barney Ruble than Hemingway! I was attempting with the embarrassed smiley thingy at the top to set that tone...and followed it with a roll your eyes "thingy" directed at me.... If some one had a bad day and read it and got a chuckle thats all I really wanted....dumb me and I fessed up...and I was prepared to take all the sh!t I deserved... Thats all!

they wanted $345 for it...still in the sleeve had the tiered style blade...greenish hue on the blade and the handles were redish...Im really "newer" to the busse thing so Im not 100% what all the offered colors where on that model and some of the internet pics coloring look a little off when you see them in real life...but i would "uneducatedly" guess moss or sage and micarta

I wanted to be sure no one drove there for nothing.....(again)

Had a cath, so I couldn't drive until Friday afternoon, and can't lift over 10 lbs until next Tuesday.

so amy-o now that Im showered and had some coffee....I really wanted to add to my apology and really make sure you didnt think I was mad...
and I would like to TELL you (and everyone at busse) something...

my writting style aside...I have a "corporate" job for a medium sized company as well as a consulting business I run on the side....from a business owner stand point... ALL of the interactions I have ever had with ANYTHING Busse (BC, SwampRat) have all been above Ritz Carlton in standards and integrity....EVERYONE...EVERYTIME....I only hope to be able to treat my customers like I have seen Busse deliver on over the 8 months or so Ive been getting to know you...

My personal interactions with the shops directly...(TB, and 2 Waki's) where perfect...all questions answered and amazing service...

my observations of your business dealings vicariously on the chats/forums...Ill point out Eric I's interaction with the fellow from Australia that got his Waki stolen in the mail as one of the literally dozens of holy sh!t that was WAY above and beyond...to the Ganzas...to the simple hi's and hellos that you guys daily put in to the forums.......ALL EXEMPLARY...reinforcing the shop interactions....

My recent purchases here from forum members....THEY too ALL AMAZING. Helpful courteous....fair....(You probably dont realize this but maybe you do...think of guys like B Brown...who I have purchased several pairs of "pants" from...you even extend into other peoples business and give them a chance to make themselves great by association as well)....

Ill tell you in my humble opinion what you are doing right....you have connected with your customers like so many other business can not....all of this creates an amazing brand and loyalty to it that just doesnt exist in many market spaces these days....and those rare occasions where it does the companies are spending millions to barely be able to buy it....and you guys are just doin' it...buy doing what you say and delivering an amazing product at an affordable price...(the second hand market is another story!!!:p)...you all seem to love what you do and you have a bunch of loyal customers that appreciate the truth and honest and integrity of your company's product and with the personal interactions...you also allow people to know you as people...with all the ugly warts and funny stories and memories that go along with it...you have taken a product and personalized it and found the clients that have become a "family"...and because of this you guys will succeed....KEEP IT UP!!!!

stepping off my soap box now..and stealing a Jerry quote. LETS DRINK!....actually I have to goto work...but I would like too! :p

Better luck on your next trip. Did some form of that drive in the past myself. It's a haul.

They did post a thread on here about it, and the owner, Jerry did post in your own thread telling the same, so I guess just bad luck that you did not catch it.

I get used to the stickies always being the same, so I often don't look at them. Others browse the forums differently, but for me, a non-sticky notice on the first page would be much more likely to be read unless the sticky title was in a different style/size/color font to make it stand out. It sounds as if it's all OK now, with no hard feelings anyway, but I've missed seeing notices because they were unexpected stickies.
 
Wow Rion_72...sorry you made the trip. I wish I would have known you were there...we could have at least hooked up and done some show and tell. Next time...just let me proxy for you:thumbup:
