Part Time Jobs?

If there is a lot of home construction in your area, a source of good paying and flexible work is cleaning up home sites for move in. Vacuuming up sawdust and plaster and making the house spiffy for the tenants.

I used to donate blood plasma for $50 a week (2 visits per week) - there's a couple hundred a month for very little work. I currently meet w/ kids that have just gotten out of prison for $10 an hour - I'm a "mentor," as they call it. They don't have nearly enough male mentors in my area (Montana) for all the boys we've got coming out - anyways, I don't know what they have around your area, but its a pretty good gig. Check w/ a probabtion & parole officer in your area if that sounds like something you'd want to do.

Don't write off waiting tables just yet.

If you are an adult, don't look like you slept on the street last night, and have your own teeth, you can do well as a server. Bring the manager a resume and go for it. I'll hire someone in their 40's with no experience with no problem if they have a professional background.
Have the right mindset and you can make great money. Hell, these kids make more than I do and I RUN the joint.
If I was prohibited from doing so, I would probably pick up a couple night waiting tables myself.

Good luck.

I've spent quite a bit of time working as a 'night watchman' on construction sites. The last job was for a LaQuinta Inn that was being built, and they were having problems with the laborers stealing. It was an easy $14 an hour, especially after they installed the doors and windows and I could lock the place up. Two friends and I took the job and rotated to accommodate our 'real' schedules, worked like a charm.

Are you an outdoorsman? I parlayed my skill, knowledge and love of sportfishing into a part time job as a mate on a fishing boat.

Fish On!,
Pam
