When I started seriously collecting knives, my main interest was in tactical style folders, mainly the dressed up ones. Recently my interest has turned to more traditional folders, like those by Tony Bose, Jess Horn, Bill Ruple, etc. and am now focusing my collection on them. While it would be great to keep all these knives, that just isn’t realistic, so I’ve gone through my safe with a hard eye, and am now putting a bunch up for sale. This is the first batch & there will likely be another group at some time in the future. I am open to serious offers, but would like to avoid lowball offers. I am not very interested in trades unless they are Bose, Horn, etc. I’m not planning to post individual pictures in the thread, as that would make the post longer and more difficult to wade through. However, I will post links to pics of each knife as fast as I can after requests are received. All knives are as new unless noted differently.


Prices below include USPS Priority Mail insured shipping with delivery confirmation within the USA. I will ship internationally, but the additional international shipping charges (above CONUS charges) must be paid by the buyer. Also, international buyers must assume the risk of loss from shipping or possible seizure in customs. For payment, I can take USPS money orders and PayPal (add 4% to cover the Paypal fees).

Can you compare the relative merits of the older & newer Davison slippies?

I think his fit & finish has improved only very slightly. Both knives I have are well made with great fit & finish. The prices I have are more a reflection of what I have in the knives. The burled wood one was a very good deal whereas the micarta was pretty much bought at maker price. Beyond that it is personal preference. I hope this helps some.
