I'm a big fan of fighter knives. The aggressive style of this kind of blade always attracted me. This is my first persian fighter, the name "Parvaneh", in farsi "like a butterfly", which brings me straight to the famous phrase by Muhamad Ali "float like a butterfly, sting like a bee".
This integral knife is very light and fast. The handle fits perfectly in the hand, and the blade becomes an extension of the arm.
The design is typical of the Persian fighting knife, has a recurve edge and the tip is very sharp and aggressive.
The damascus is W pattern with 450 layers (5160+15n20), the handle is made with a beauty mexican wood, Ziricote.
The dimensions: 8 1/2 in long blade, 1 1/2 in wide, 5/32 thick near the collar. Overall length is: 13 1/2 in.
The weight is 6.3oz.
Comments and critics are welcomed.

wow, what a gorgeous blade! I'm a sucker for integral bolster blades, and with that beautiful damascus it just puts it over the top! Great choice of wood for the handle, and the tones in the sheath make it a perfect complitment for the total package. I agree, that's definitely worth every penny!!! :)
