What would you guys like to see in a Passaround?

I am open to suggestions for a new style of knife too!
(as well as prototypes of what I've got in the works as well)

Just post your suggestions...my ears are open!!

Karambit?

Or maybe a new kitchen knife: That way nobody will have an excuse not to test it. We all have to eat right?

Koster Kleaver?

A Premium CPM-S90V "Barrakuda"

I'd live to get my mitts on a premium fillet/boning knife life this. I processed 13 deer last week (from the tree to the freezer) and good boning knives are highly appreciated --- so are good fillet knives when that time of year is around...

Actually, a kitchen knife sounds like a tremendous idea. Those who haven't yet tried food prep with a knife made with better-than-Walmart steel/HT and correct edge geometry can see the difference it makes.

Could make some rules about only cutting on wooden/bamboo cutting boards or something similar and no trips through the dishwasher. :D

What about to improve an existing model ?

Just an example : I've tested the Survivor for a while and I found the point too thiny and unbalanced for the huge dimensions (IMO need more weght towards the point)

So my idea is :
- collect feedbacks for an existing model
- pass around with the modified improved version
- collect feedbacks for the new version

It's hunting season. How about a skinner? You've got a tactical fillet knife for fisherman. How about doing something similar in a skinner for hunters?

A passaround of an upgraded version (to your original specs - 3V instead of O1) of the Camp Knife Challenge entrant you made would be awesome. I'd have to go back and find the results thread to confirm, but I don't think there were any standout recommendations for how it could have been improved upon otherwise.

Great suggestions so far - keep 'em coming!

I'd like to see a Bushcraft model in 3v but with a full flat grind.

Or a stainless skeletonized neck knife but with a scandi grind and sharp point like a bushcraft.

I'd like to see a lightweight and easily accessible EDC like a K4 Karda either with just paracord or just plain old skeletonized handle and a cool and quick carrying method. My .02.

I would like to see an EDC/neck knife (fixed blade) with no handles or possibly simple rounded cornered g10 scales, I would love it to have a full flat grind and have it have a point for a window breaker/pry tip on the handle side and a sharpened belt cutter, possibly as the thumb ramp/finger guard. Ideally it would have a kydex sheath that would allow the belt cutter to function while the knife is still in the sheath for protection against cuts. This would also allow the window breaker / pry tip to function while sheathed also.

As a possible starting point, your mini nesmuk design but with a ring for the index finger that is more in-line with the handle for a secure grip.

yet another +1 for a kitchen knife or boning knife.

Heck, do another santoku or maybe a gyuto. Those are so versatile that everyone will have something they can try it on.

Since I've shot 2 deer this year, I'm really appreciating what a good boning knife would do to help me process these things.

Then again, your camp knife in an upgraded form might be nice...
