With the Moderators permission, I am going to be doing a passaround of a Bushcrafter model starting after the first of the year. The knife will be similar to this one, I`m just not sure what handles yet. The knife has a 4” blade, and is
8 ¼” overall, out of 1/8” convex ground O1 steel.

Here are the rules

1. You must promise to ship the knife after 5 days of usage. Shipping must be USPS insured for $150.00 and sent Priority Mail to the next reviewer, plus, you must use "Delivery Confirmation" when you send.
2. You must take at least one picture and post it in the passaround thread with your impressions of the knife while it is in your possession. Please don`t wait two weeks after you have sent it on to do your review.
3. You must have at least 200 posts to be included, or, if I know you personally, I reserve the right to include you if you have less.
4. No chopping bricks (even though Jake showed you can)
5. You must not be madborderman07
6. If you do not follow the rules, you will not be allowed to participate in any more of my passarounds, or Knife Giveaway Contests (and there will be more).

*CONUS ONLY. Sorry guys, but we are going to keep this in the lower 48*

After we get enough guys for the passaround, I will contact you to email, not PM, me your Forum name, real name, address, and phone number. I will set up the order of the reviewers then. After the first reviewer is done he will email me and I will send him the next reviewers address. Please make sure to sharpen and clean the knife, if needed, before sending it on.

At the end of the passaround, I will be picking a winner to receive the knife.

OK, now I`m leaving to go to the zoo with my daughter for our annual tradition, we have done this every year for the last 23 years. I will check back tonight or in the morning. You can start signing up any time now.

200 post minimum still biting me in the ass, but I would love to get in on this passaround

It would be my first passaround here. I'd love to join in.

By the way, this is my favorite knife of yours. Beautiful lines.

That is a generous offer John.

Unfortunately I'm cut out also, but I totally understand. Crossing borders causes unpredictable shipping times and that is not consistent with a passaround. For any Canucks feeling disenfranchised, please see the Canadian Connection subforum where I have posted ideas for a CDN pass around...

Sorry John not trying to hijack your thread. The Bushcrafter looks to be a great design. Good luck everybody and I'm looking forward to seeing the cummulative pictures that result in this thread!

How close are you to Detroit? If I can hit 200 posts (this gets me one closer) and I get into the passaround, we could meet on either side of the border to exchange it. I go to school and work right downtown so the Windsor tunnel is not out of the way for me at all, and there's an Irish pub over there that I absolutely love. It would take some coordination but it could be done. If you're close to Windsor and want to give this a shot, we could probably figure something out.

Sign me up! I've been wanting to check out one of your knives for a long time! You could also throw in an extra Scout if you wanted too! :D

I'd love to be in on this one John! I've been wanting to check out your bushcrafter for quite some time.

Well if you hit that 200 post, I'd love to have a beer with you and chat knives. I get across the boarder every now and then. I actually live closer to downtown Detroit than most people in Detroit do :D

Count me in, …I’m starting to like these thin bladed knives.

I look forward to giving this one a try.

John,

I have been eying your knives for quite a while.

I would love to be part of this passaround.

kgd - check your PMs as well. If I get in on this, this may be a good opportunity.

Maybe we can make it a Cabella's day. It would be close to centre between us, and Cmdionne can come along for the ride????

However we plan to do it, it seems between the three of us only one might end up having to pay any shipping. I guess its a true "pass around" isn't it.

Are you kidding! I'm in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What color is the handle on the one pictured?

You know im in John......:D:thumbup:

Thanks, and I saw a couple pics in SWAT magazne of your Hikers Backup. Nice Exposure, thats really cool!!

I promise I wont chop any bricks.:o

Now you're talkin'! With an unpredictable work schedule I usually can't get in on pass-arounds. I never know when I'm going to be sent out of town for a week. With my luck, the knife would arrive the day I got on the plane.

If you get a Cabelas meet & greet together mor a multi-person fondling and drooling session one weekend, I'll be there.

I have access to some property north of Cabelas if we want to take it to a partially wooded 40 acres for a short workout.
