Thank you Bruce

"Relief" is indeed the word of the day when the bend test has been successfully accomplished.

There's a certain "pucker factor" that can't be denied ;) :D

Thank you Marcus ;)

I love the way the green G10 finishes out too.
It's tough as nails and IMHO, a perfect choice for a hard use knife !

In regards to making an excellent knife .......... ;)

If any of you guys haven't looked at Marcus Lin's new website.........check it out !!

Now there's some mighty fine knives  :thumbup

GREAT!!! What plans do you have for following up with your five presentation knives?

Hi Phil :) Thanks

My plans are to make 6, and I'm starting right away, like yesterday ;) no kidding

I'll pick the best 5 and submit them to the panel of 7 MS Judges at next years BLADE SHOW.

Wish me luck Brother Dwyer

Thanks again to all who've posted. Your support and comments have been extremely humbling.

I just can't thank all of you enough !!

:)

Do I understand your procedure correctly in that there was no tempering after the quenching of the home and final test blades?

me2, sorry for any misunderstanding in regards to my JS Performance Test Blade hardening & tempering details.

Yes, I tempered my Blades after austenitizing and quenching, but I did not use a torch to draw back the spine.

I tempered the entire blade(s) in my kiln.

Thanks for your post
