Passedina blade expo 2011

Well, I just got back from the PS and there was no traditional dinner this time... Leroy and Wilde Bill and everyone else had to get home... PDave and me had a good time at show... Dave is a really nice guy and I hope to see him next year or up in Oregon, if I make it there... ITE

ITE, well sorry to hear you guys didn't go to dinner like in the past but I didn't get to go on saturday and would've miss out so I glad it didn't happen for my own selfishness, Sorry that sounds horrible.

Anybody else back from the show or on their PC and care to tell us about a nice model they found today ? DM

Just got back a few minutes ago from Pasadena. I was very disappointed that dinner fell apart, but at least I got to meet up with all the bunch at the show.

I did pick up a beauty, but pictures will have to wait until I get a nap. It's a 1 of 1 that was made as the Youth Award for last year, and was supposed to go to the best young exibitor. I'll have to get the info again from Bruce, I seem have gone brain dead due to the long day yesterday.

The knife is a beautiful barehead 110 frame, maple burl scales, nickel silver bolsters with a mirror polished 486 blade. It's the only one made, so I jumped all over it when Bruce showed it to me.

Well, bummer! I just discovered that I lost the memory card out of one of my cameras at the hotel. I called them to see if the maid found it after I left, but I don't have much hope of getting it back. It's one of those tiny micro sized ones, and you would have to really be on the lookout for it to spot it. It had most of the show pictures on it, so I only have these three that I took with the other camera.

I'm ashamed of myself, I live 5 miles from the place and did not even stop by. I guess it's what you call life.

Bruce is going to e-mail me all the pictures he took while there so I'll post them when I get them. No luck on my missing memory card. I'm sure it got sucked up by a vacumn cleaner and is in the dump by now.

Great pics, Dave... Well here are some of the ones I took... ITE ...

Thanks for the photos guys.Hope they find you're card Dave.Sure wish I could've been there.

The cards history guys. The thing was so small you could put four of them on a postage stamp, one of those micro sd's. It's been sucked up in a vacumn and dumped before I even missed it I'm sure.
