Passing MS and JS test

Out of sheer curiosity I was wondering what percentage of smiths pass the Mastersmith and Journeyman Smith tests each year at the Blade Show. I am not reffering to the performance test with a MS. I know it must fluctuate from year to year but I am just wondering an average or maybe some stats from previous years.

In case you fail, I'm pretty sure they can set up a gallows for you. :D:D:D
 
The bar seems higher to reach each year. In 2003 I cant remember anybody that didnt pass MS. There was one that didnt make the JS. Usually the makers are ready because they have had several Mastersmiths inspect their work before they go. The ABS members are good about helping the upcomers prepare their skills. Its good to ask for help and advice from the beginning and do it their way.
