Not in. But I'm not sure what I would feel about a jury summons.
I'm a criminal defense attorney. I'll likely never sit on a jury.
I've had friends sit on my juries. Older brother had to waste half a day before they let him go. Like they were ever going to let him sit on my jury.
Once, I picked a jury. In the pool was another attorneys father (the other attorney was in my office). The dad was a lawyer for the county in civil matters, had represented the officers involved in the case, and sat there in he back doing a cross word puzzle. Half the day. Not responding to all the questions that would have immediately gotten him kicked off.
Eventually he jumped up all embarrassed and said "sorry, I was not paying attention. He proceeded to list all the reasons to kick him off.
If you get chosen, and you feel one way about a verdict, don't be a wuss, and let your self be convicted otherwise, just to be unanimous.
(Assuming it is a criminal trial).
There is nothing I hate worse than hearing there was disagreement about guilt, but they wanted to go home.
