i just wanted you guys to know that if you ever pick up a blade made by these full time makers they stand behind their work even if you are not the original purchaser....i bought a used crawford made titanium handled ats-34 bladed full size kasper folding fighter with bead blast finish from a forum member....the knife was as the forum member had described but had some horizontal blade play which was not too bad but wasnt to the usual standards that pat and wes keep which is zero blade play while keeping a silky smooth action

when i was at pat crawford's house picking up another folder which he needed to update i asked him about the blade play on the kff and showed it to him....he said it would be no problem but i would have to leave it with him for repair...i received a letter the other day that it was ready and drove over to pat's house after he said it would be ok if i came to get it...not only did he fix the blade play and make the action even silkier he completely bead blasted the entire thing back to original finish and put a new edge on the blade.....i couldn't tell the knife from a new one!!!!....he basically refurbed it back to like new condition

i asked him what i owed him....he responded with NO CHARGE!!!! since we stand behind all our products

i then told him i had picked up a survival staff with all the trimmings off these boards and he responded by handing me a new set of o rings, a new mushroom end cap and half a dozen darts for the blowgun funtion of the staff...again he said NO CHARGE!!!!

pat and wes crawford are definitely some of the very good makers we have available to us....i was already an occasional customer of his but this past friday has made me a very loyal one

thanks.....feverdoc

maurice....i asked pat about the arkansas show and he said he and wes decided not to go but they would be well represented by some of the dealers who sell their knives

by the way i was able to see and handle many proto types as well as established blades in the raptor line that pat and wes are submitting to crkt for licensing and production....all i can say is the knife buying public will be pleasantly suprised with the fixed blades they have in store from crkt!!!!

These guys and gal took time to help me identify a rather scarce knife and were most co-operative when I asked for the information. Great knife as well. Thanks to All! Mike:D
