i ran into pat crawford at a show in cordova tennessee this past weekend and happened to have a mini wortac i purchased from another forum member with me and told pat about the VERTICAL blade play that had developed....he examined the knife for a few minutes and said it should have never been like that....i asked him to do the needed repair(s) and let me know how much i owed him.....he looked me in the eyes and said "oh, i am going to make several updates on this one and make it like new for you as this knife should have never developed this problem....there will be NO CHARGE".....we just grinned at each other and i gave him a business card with the appropriate info as well as the wortac....all i can say is that pat crawford remains a craftsman that stands behind his products and continues to have the utmost pride in his workmanship....in my book he is one of the very good guys in the custom knife world.....feverdoc

Very cool of Mr. Crawford. I like reading things like this about custom makers, as this is the sort of thing that underscores why I've "gone custom" in the last year or so.

Dittos FeverDoc....I traded for a Crawford Small Kasper this weekend for my own personal carry piece.....I'm very proud of it to say the least. It's always great having Pat swing by the table and hang out with us.

my fav EDC tactical knife is my crawford/kasper ti figher, which over time had devoloped scuffs on the ti and the blade - em'd pat wanting a price to rebead blast the blade and handles, and he said send the knife w/$15 for shipping, and he would blast for free, and take a look at it, etc - wow, cant complain about that, can ya?????
